Loree Pound Blackburn, along with daughter Kaitlin Blackburn, also keeps the Gospel tradition alive. Their moving album, Sheltered in the Arms of God, is available for purchase here.

And Loree was the cover story for Currents Magazine in Winter of 2011, when she and her very popular Cattleman's Family Restaurant in Green Forest, Arkansas served up delicious country cooking and tasty country music to devoted locals who just kept on comin' back for more of both. The sisters all spent time up on the stage, and the Nudie's stage costume, shown below, had pride of place in a glass showcase.

The 6 Lbs of Music on the Road

Being on the road meant long hours, some tough traveling, lots of good laughs together, and some of the best costumes in the world. One of the girls' favorites was designed by Nuta Kotlyarenko, known professionally as Nudie Cohn, and known popularly as "Nudie Suits". Nudie created elaborate outfits for some of the most famous celebrities of his era. Bonnie says this hot pink, glittery creation brings back a lot of good memories.
